Casino-On-Net
Casino-On-Net is the Casino-game half of
www.888.com. Having started
way back in 1996, Casino-On-Net is one of the older
online casinos. You can either play for real money, or just demo it
with "play" money for as long as you like.
Casino-On-Net is one of the only sites that offers multi-player casino
tables. This is where you can play blackjack with other folks at the
table. There isn't a lot of point to this in an online world, but it
does bring a little more "life" to the otherwise barren, electronic table.
Getting Started -
(Go to the Casino-On-Net Site)
The initial download size is about 150KB, and then it
continues to download after you've started running that program. Installation
is clean and smooth, and takes about 2 minutes. Once installed, all the major
casino games are ready to play, the other games will download automatically when
you try to play them. All-in-all the installation is slick.

Blackjack-History
Gameplay
Gameplay is excellent. All play goes quite quickly, with
great sound and graphics. I enjoyed this casino quite a lot.
They also offer multi-player casino tables. This adds an interesting
dimension to the online blackjack tables. I found I liked it,
even though it slowed the game play while you waited for other players.
The options are nice, you can pick a lot of sound settings. I particularly
like the ability to pick a female dealer voice instead of a male one!
Casino-on-net also keeps track of your complete history of hands
played (screenshot). I found this to be a very nice feature after the game for
checking whether you played well or not.
Adware warning
After installing this product, Microsoft's AntiSpyware Beta started
reporting that this was an adware based software product. The
Antispyware program did note that this is a low risk application,
and I never really saw any behavior from this program which seems
inappropriate. Nonetheless, its worth noting.
